December 1, 2009: Sign agreement to work with Adoption Facilitator Sarah Jensen, Adoption Center of San Diego.
December 29, 2009: Turn in Dear Birthmom Letter.
January 14, 2010: Sarah calls and asks if we're anxious yet. NO. You have been chosen by Jill.
January 18, 2010: We get to meet Jill and get to know each other. Jill calls that evening and says "I want YOU guys to be the parents of my baby."
February 23, 2010, 4:30pm: Elle Katherine McFarland is born!
When you ask God what direction to go and then you go that direction, it is amazing what can happen and how quickly.

10 years of marriage = 10 days in Rome

Marriage is an awesome thing! That love can carry us through the good and bad and always leave us better off than we were is something we hope all could experience. We celebrated ten years of marriage on April 17, 2009 and in July headed off to Rome for ten days, of course, to celebrate the love God has given us for one another. Here are some pictures of our trip and the fun we had while we ate our way around Italy. That's why you go, right? For the food? The Moments We All Have...

Sometimes we get to experience our moments in life with those closest to us and at other times we are left with only the stories to share.  This little page is for those moments to be shared.  Some will be from the past, many in the future, but most importantly they will all include you, our friends and family.  To kick it all off we uploaded two videos that show each of our biggest accomplishments of 2008.
